Our Story
Institute’s History
The WILAN Women’s Leadership Institute was created with a clear mission. We are committed to ensuring that women across Africa have equitable and seamless access to leadership opportunities. We are an initiative of the Women in Leadership Advancement Network Global. WILAN Global is a Nigerian based international organization dedicated to advancing women's leadership in political, economic and public life.
We were founded in 2018. Since then we have empowered women with the essential tools they need to succeed. We connect women to a strong support network, practical knowledge, valuable resources and meaningful opportunities that advance their leadership journeys.
At the WILAN Women’s Leadership Institute we believe that when women are empowered to lead communities thrive. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every woman can grow, lead with confidence and make a lasting impact.
This is more than leadership development. This is a movement.
